I prefer to evaluate the original articles or posts for veracity, context, and the wider views of the author

Re: Keys to the Record: The normality of the Supernormal (Siddihis in Sri Aurobindo's Record of Yoga) by Richard Hartz
by Srikanth on Thu 06 Sep 2007 02:58 PM PDT Profile Permanent Link This appears to be a second article by Richard Hartz (I understand he is someone who works/ed in the Archives) posted here recently. It is important to know where these articles were originally published and if they were written for SCIY.

Reply by Srikanth on Thu 06 Sep 2007 08:02 PM PDT Profile Permanent Link Well, there are several reasons. I have not been able to get any significant information on Hartz anywhere so far. Moreover, I am curious why he has not posted them himself or more pertinently, why he does not seem to have requested (no explicit sign of it) them to be posted. One explanation is that they have been published elsewhere like some other articles here (I havent found anything online so far). I like to be careful where I can and prefer to evaluate the original articles or posts for veracity, context, and the wider views of the author. S
Reply by Rich on Thu 06 Sep 2007 09:37 PM PDT Profile Permanent Link SCIY is always open to publish articles from authors who have a significant contribution to make to Sri Aurobindo studies. All articles are posted here only by the editors. Many of Richard's articles have been from text which he has presented earlier at various conferences around India rich.
