Puducherry, Dec 5: People from different parts of the country thronged the premises of Sri Aurobindo Ashram here to pay homage at the samadhi of the revolutionary turned philosopher Sri Aurobindo on the occasion of his 56th memorial day (Mahasamadhi Day) today.Arrangements were made to enable devotees visit the chamber where the saint did his spiritual tapas in the ashram. Sri Aurobindo came to Puducherry in 1910 and devoted himself to spiritual work and 'sadhana.' (Agencies) cibs@chennaionline.com
