To commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the Alipore Bomb Trial (1908-1909), the Sri Aurobindo Ashram Archives has put up an exhibition highlighting Sri Aurobindo's role as a revolutionary organiser.
The exhibition features more than 270 posters which include rare photographs, quotations and explanatory texts.
It covers Sri Aurobindo's life from 1893 when he returned from England to 1909 when he was acquitted in the trial. Place: Ashram Exhibition House (opposite Promenade Hotel) Dates: 22 April to 3 May 2008 (all days) Time: 9:30am to 11:30 am and 4pm to 7pm
