The three-day Interart, the 32nd Vikram Sarabhai International Arts Festival organised by the Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, starts on Friday with Phedre in Hindi. Written by Jean Racine, the original version was directed by acclaimed director Astrid Bas. This will be followed by a dance performance by the Darpana group on the theme of The journey inward - Devi Mahatmaya. Another attraction of this year’s Interart is a flute performance by Linda Wetherhill. She will be playing at a concert organised by Darpana to pay tribute to Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri: The Flame of the Future.
