French Film Festival - Aurofilm & Embassy of France present a Retrospective of 9 films by Alain Resnais

Alain Resnais has made a definite mark on modern cinema with his commitment to the history of his time and the invention of a new cinematographic style of writing made up of deceptive continuities and a constant ambiguity between reality and art. Filmmakers as diverse as Arnaud Desplechin and Pascale Ferran in France and Wong Kar-Wai in Hong-Kong have all drawn on his influence, especially in their plotting of a cinematographic tale.
All films are presented in their original French version, with English subtitles.
