Saami, nothing could be further than the actual situation..when Master continued His sadhana in Pondicherry it was for a specific inner action with very exact repercussions. It has been affirmed in our own experience, the use of a higher will to influence external events.

The action of a Yogin is counterintuitive to the material intellect. A silence that yet shakes the foundations of the external manifestation is the norm.

For those who have not savoured Sri Aurobindo’s Essays on the Gita. A small sample from the very first chapter. The Gita is not to be merely read, or chanted or commented upon..it’s living truth is available to all who would follow the injunctions of Sri Krishna, as Arjuna didFolded hands

is the expert. I will not be able to do the justice in explaining the story correctly. This is the story of Amrita or Karlapakam Aravamudachari Iyengar. He was one of the earliest disciples of SA. He was closely associated with Subramania Bharati too.

Coming from a brahmin family when I first read this somewhere it shocked me a little. But it was the beginning of my understanding that traditional sampradaya r stuck in a time warp. SA is gently nudging the sampradayas to see the bigger picture beyond their founder's doctrine

Sri Aurobindo and the mother have presented Islam in its truest form. At its core its aim is noble, to take humanity to the highest divine consciousness in a unified way. But zealots have misused it for power and destruction.

The mukti or liberation that jiva attains, how long is it valid ? Is it for all times or the Jiva has to return to cycle of life and death at the start of a new kalpa ?

Moksha/Mukti the condition of the soul being freed from hampering conditions of body, life and mind. After Mukti the soul acts in its freedom in the world conditions it can choose to retreat to higher spheres. Post Mukti the soul can choose to manifest again if it wishes.

Check this reference from Atharv veda on post death experiance. A scriptural reference to what Mother and SA said. Threefold yonders looks like physical, vital and mental journey of psychic being. The interpretor mistakes it for heaven and hell

The AVŚ 11.8.33 offers a great example of triad specification that when first dying, the human body divides threefold in yonders. The TS 3.4.3.8 specifies three types of sacrificers, KB 28.5 specifies three types of Agni, & AiB 3.7.1 with three grades of Vaṣaṭ calls by a Hotṛ

A typical instance of a triad is that of Śunaḥśepa in ṚV 1.24.13 in which his foot-irons are fastened to 3 different places of a sacrificial post & in ṚV 9.73.8 where the clarification of the divine draught is compared to 3 internal sieves responsible for poetical inspiration.

The enemies' weakening might save Dharma, but not Dharma's own strength. The good work of Infinity, Indica, Upword, Atharva etc. shows Dharma is more alive than 20 years ago. The problem is that they have a limited reach, & the Gvt is not intervening to remove those hurdles.

Dharma is a self-existent Force of the Supreme, if you please. It doesn't require goverments or individuals for its workings. You speak as if Dharma were dependent on human help and participation! It doesn't.

Is nuance banned around here? He basically said, Dharma exists in its own sphere...hence it is Sanatana, it is Rta of the SatyamRtamBrhad. Humans aspire to manifest Dharma, conduct themselves by it. Presumptuous to assume every biped conducting himself by mental notions of.. 1/n

..Dharma is establishing Dharma in its higher forms. It is the Divine, Sri Krishna, who comes to establish or re-establish Dharma, we are but His instruments and as such not indispensable, exactly what He tells Arjuna in the Gita, even without you all these heroes are slain.. 2/n

It is definitely not the mental notions at all, Sri Krishna makes that clear. Establish yourself in Yoga with me He says and then obey My command. Simple as that. Of course one is free to do what one can in the limited light of their mental knowledge.. 4/n

organise yourself and others, share tutorials, go protest, write books, raise your people and more...but all of this, the whole damn thing, is only our feeble conjecture on what should/could be done. It is He who decides what Dharma is and how it aught to be established...6/n

To serve some miniscule fragment of His Dharma we toil for many ages to earn the privilege for. Hence the Dharma is eternal, it is our Sanatana Dharma. It does not need us, we aspire for it and desire it and serve it with our lives. n/n Folded hands
