WHERE Centres and Branches of Sri Aurobindo Society
Noida, Uttar Pradesh
August 15, 2016
On August 15, 2016, the Noida centre’s members gathered to celebrate Bharat's Independence Day and the birthday of Sri Aurobindo. Following the hoisting of the tri-colour, the members saluted the Flag and sung the National Anthem, a spectacle enjoyed by a large number of people in the area.
An hour-long video on Integral Yoga was screened following the flag-hoisting ceremony.
September, 2016
On the September 3, the centre’s Study Circle met to study Yogic Sadhan edited by Uttar Yogi. This is Sri Aurobindo’s well-known book written by using a planchette.
On the evening of September 11, Dr. J.P. Singh delivered a talk on the Gita.
On the last Saturday of the month (September 24), Arun Naik gave a talk on the topic “Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo”.
Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
A programme on Sri V. B. Lele was organized on the afternoon of September 25, 2016, at the Society’s premises at the Gwalior centre.
Smt. Rajeshwari Savant, principal of Gwalior Glory School, was the chief guest. Apart from giving a short lecture on the subject, she appreciated the work carried out by SAS IOC, Gwalior, in the fields of Culture and Spirituality.
A talk by Shri Manoj Das (from Puducherry) was also delivered via audio recording.
At the end of the programme, Smt. Savant released a bi-annual bulletin named SAMADHAN published by SAS IOC, Gwalior.

SAFIC is organizing an intensive workshop on Sanskrit for beginners, titled ‘SPANDANA: Feeling the Pulsation of a Divine Language’, from January 22 to 28, 2017, at the Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry. In the past, hundreds of participants from various parts of the country and world have attended this week-long workshop.

From October 10 to 22, 2016, SAFIC will conduct a study camp in Puducherry on the study of the Srimad Bhagavadgita (Gita). The entire scripture will be covered in the duration of the camp, with word-by-word explanations and deeper exposition of the thought contents of each of its chapters.
