Rus and I are sitting at the Administration Building and it is snowing!! I am filled with gratitude for a wonderful AUM - As a newcomer to AUM, I want to give an enthusiastic round of applause to everyone for the warm welcome. I never felt like an outsider - you all definitely ‘walk the talk’ and embody the spirit of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo in your daily lives. Everything I participated in and with deepened my connection to the divine, especially the dancing with Melissa and Anandi and the Savitri reading group. Our hike from Sprague Lake was exquisite and the siting of Elk herds on the way back to the YMCA was spectacular. We made many connections with people which will warm our hearts for months to come and perhaps we will see you all again. Meanwhile, I have a lot of pictures and I heard that this blog could be a place to upload them - forgive my ignorance, but I do not see any link to that here - could someone point the way? Lynda, Dave and Paula - thank you for the amazing amount of work that you did - right down to the detail of having names on our doors! I am sorry we didn’t finish the Matrimandir puzzle but the logistics of getting to Barclay kept us away for this last day. I hope it doesn’t take as long to do the puzzle as it did to construct the real thing…. which appears to be most beautiful. B’s movie of Auroville’s 40th is very good and thank you for sharing it. The meditations with Lynda were profound and all the energy shared in this group will leave a lasting impression.
